....I guess I asked because I've seen a lot of those pics... and in a way a felt a degree of connection with it because of my military service and the way my feet look now
that makes sense. working hard definitely has its set backs, like having damaged feet, but I think ultimately you can look at that as proof that you’ve done something you like/love. Not to assume you loved what you did because I really have no idea but even if you didn’t, you can at least look at it as a sense of working hard.
Dance is beautiful. But with beauty there is pain and that’s exactly what a ballerina’s foot shows. I used to dance, I know how destructive it can be on your feet; but your passion for it drives you to keep going. In a way, I think it’s a sense of accomplishment. But it’s also a reminder that this beautiful thing isn’t easy, like most people may think. Dance is extremely hard on your body.
